Be respectful

Treat other runners with respect. Harassment, threats, hate or discriminatory abuse, bullying, stalking, and targeted intimidation are not allowed. Unwanted repeated contact, sexual harassment, and retaliation against someone who sets a boundary are not allowed either.

Respect people's boundaries

Everyone on Rally deserves to feel safe setting limits. A few things to keep in mind:

• A Nod is not permission for repeated contact.
• A match or connection can be ended at any time.
• Do not pressure someone to explain why they restricted, hid from, or blocked you.
• Do not create another account to contact someone who has blocked you.
• Do not use run attendance or social information to monitor another person.
• Rejection, restriction, hiding, blocking, and reporting are not invitations to retaliate.

If someone has made clear they do not want contact, respect that — in the app and at runs or events where you may see each other.

Keep it real

Do not impersonate other people or clubs. Do not spam, scam, or use Rally to promote unrelated services. Do not share another person's private information without permission.

Stay safe

Do not encourage dangerous behavior, stalking, or meeting in unsafe conditions. Use common sense when meeting people from the app. Choose public meeting points when possible and trust your instincts.

Rally helps people find runs and communities, but you are responsible for your own decisions about who to meet and where to go. Rally does not supervise run clubs or guarantee that every interaction will be safe.

Use messaging responsibly

Do not send unwanted sexual content, exploitative material, or abusive messages. Respect when someone does not want to connect or continue a conversation.

Respect blocks and safety controls

Rally gives you tools to set boundaries — including hiding your profile, restricting interaction, and blocking another user. If someone uses one of these controls, do not try to get around it by:

• Contacting them through another account.
• Asking a mutual connection to reach out on your behalf.
• Using shared events, attendee lists, or club information to approach them.
• Pressuring them to explain their choice.

Real-world conduct

Because Rally connects people who may also meet at runs and events, behavior at a Rally-connected run, club, or meetup matters. Conduct that creates a safety concern — such as harassment at an event, stalking after a run, or retaliation for a safety action in the app — may be reviewed under our Terms of Service.

Rally does not monitor every event or verify every report. If something feels unsafe, use the in-app reporting tools and contact local authorities if you are in immediate danger.

Report problems in the app

You can:

• Report a person from their profile.
• Report a message using the long-press menu in chat.
• Hide your profile from someone so they cannot discover or view you.
• Block another user to stop contact on Rally.

The person you report will not see who submitted the report.

How Rally responds

Rally may review reports and take action when behavior violates these guidelines or our Terms of Service. Actions may include warnings, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent account removal. Rally considers the severity and context of each situation and may act on patterns of behavior, not just individual reports.

Rally does not promise to review every report immediately or to take the same action in every case. We take safety concerns seriously, but we cannot guarantee that every incident will be prevented or resolved.
